Welcome

Welcome to my unofficial Raspberry Pi blog; where I plan to share my thoughts about, and experiences with the Raspberry Pi.  I am extremely excited about the project and am already thinking of projects that I want to do with the machine.

I hope (like many others I'm sure) to buy one of the first batch and plan to document my experiences here.

I think the Raspberry Pi is going to be one of the highlights of 2012 and I look forward to being part of the community which will undoubtedly spring up around it.

Raspberry Pis For Sale!

Well that is if you are prepared to buy them at auction and pay somewhere north of $3000 for the $35 device...  The Raspberry Pi Foundation are auctioning 10 of the RasPi beta boards on eBay here.

This is a huge announcement for the charity (surely quashing once and for all any mumblings of vaporware) and can only mean that the first batch of ten thousand units cannot be far away from general sale.
